Our very first sustainable prototype

We built a t-style guitar using our additive method and an invasive wood composite, along with reclaimed flooring.

Our original epoxy and invasive biomass mix

Using a 19% Tree of Heaven composite by weight. We cast the bottom half of the guitar body in a t-style mold.

Reclaimed cedar top

Discarded construction cedar with many knots and destined for the trash was the wood choice for our prototype top.

Adhering the top to the thinline mold

While future iterations look to be more additive, we were able to mount the top to our routed composite back.

Neck fabrication and fretting

The neck is reclaimed flooring. Mahogany decking forms the backside while the fretboard is fashioned from a maple floorboard.
